Solarroot Press — printmaking

Solarroot Press runs printmaking and linocut workshops where Valencia makers want sharp tools, registration tricks, and editions numbered honestly.

Since 2012 presses and barens are maintained on a log — ink mixes recorded so you can repeat a favourite teal.

Process cards at Solarroot Press list steps for printmaking visits in plain English before you commit to a date on solarroot.buzz.

Beginner classes carve soft lino and print by hand; intermediate covers two-colour registration.

Inks are water-washable unless a masterclass specifies oil — aprons provided, old shoes advised.

Edition limits are explained ethically — artist proofs marked, not sold as open runs without saying so.

Drying racks labelled by session date; pickup within two weeks or storage fee applies.

Evening ventilation runs full fans when solvent weeks are scheduled — calendar marks those dates Call +34 963 217 458 for same-day questions.

We list tool safety before you book a carve night.

Most service timing start with a short written brief at Solarroot with scope confirmed on paper before work starts. Plain English intake — no generator jargon on the ticket Desk near Carrer de Roger de Llúria 28.

Written care notes follow every printmaking handoff here and favour fewer parallel jobs during busy weeks. City regulars know the door note is current.

If you only need a quick printmaking check, say so during service timing using honest lead times rather than same-day promises when the bench is full. Door updates for solarroot post before opening when hours shift.

Materials for service timing are quoted before printmaking labour begins with clear tickets so handoffs stay consistent. Receipts are available on request.

Our printmaking desk explains service timing before tools leave the shelf and are answered in plain English during Wed–Sat 11:00–19:00 / Sun–Tue closed. Ask for the printmaking lead if the queue splits.
